Alumni are a group of people who have graduated from a school or university. Students past and present are seen as continued partners, providing a crucial opportunity for both the alumni and our current students alike to build their profile and get huge benefits. For our current students, alumni are becoming important professional development help as well as a source of inspiration. For former students, joining this community provides the perfect opportunity to expand their professional connections and meet new people. It also allows them to stay connected to SRMS and keep up to date with our news.

"Once a Manwoodian, always a Manwoodian."

All alumni are able to join the closed Facebook group 'The Old Manwoodians'. Join the page in order to be kept up to date with all alumni events, as well as news of the School and fellow alumni, and of course to reminiscence! It can be found at

There is also a Linkedin page at

All alumni are eligible to join the Old Manwoodian Association (OMA). Membership of the Association costs £5.00 a year, which covers the cost of postage of the newsletters, the organisation of events and the administration of the Association. If you would like to join the OMA please contact the Membership Secretary, Mr David Stevens, at

Each year an Alumni & Family reunion event is held at the School which is open to all alumni, not just those alumni who are members of the OMA. The next one will be on Saturday 6 July 2024.

Other events especially for alumni include drinks in London and Sandwich and, for those who are members of the OMA, the annual OMA v School hockey and cricket matches.
