Our school was founded on the philanthropy of Sir Roger Manwood, who provided the money to establish a free grammar school in Sandwich in 1563. Our current funding priority - The Grange

Since the sad closure of boarding, we have used The Grange as the base for our Sixth Form but haven't had the money to make the most of the building's amazing potential. After the sale of The Lodge, our other boarding house, the school is able to commit £1.5m to pay for the structural changes needed to turn dormitories into 7 new classrooms and create new study and social areas. But, if we are going to turn The Grange into an amazing home for our Sixth Form, we need your help. We are part way through our final year of fundraising events, grant applications and sponsorships to raise the £0.5m we need to complete the project.
