We are seeking to appoint an efficient, exceptionally well organised Personal Assistant to work directly for the Headteacher.

Applicants should have suitable experience in a Senior Administrative role with a proven track record in secretarial tasks, diary management and have the ability to communicate at all levels.

In addition to the daily PA role, you will be responsible for coordinating certain school events which will require the ability to communicate effectively within school and with outside agencies and groups. Working alongside the Headteacher and the School Business Manager you will be involved in the HR process and be responsible for recruitment administration.

This varied and pivotal role requires the candidate to be versatile and forward thinking with excellent IT skills. The ability to multi-task this varied workload is essential, you will also be a confident team player with a natural ability to prioritise and build good working relationships.


Kent Range 5-6 (£17,827-£21,509)

37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (which is term time, plus 2 weeks) from 3 September 2018. 

The role requires a presence from 8am each morning, earlier at busy times in the year.

We are seeking a well organised, experienced person to lead the School’s Cover Team. The role includes using computer software to arrange fair and effective deployment of staff resources to cover for planned and unplanned staff absences; the delivery of cover lesson; the liaison with the Cover Assistants; the school’s own supply teachers and outside agencies.  A good knowledge of the workings of a school and the needs of teaching and support staff.   Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role, although applicants with no experience but a clear willingness to learn the role quickly may also be considered.


Kent Range 3-4 (£15,253 - £17,826) pro rata

37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year, from 3 September 2018

An ideal position for a graduate considering teaching as a future career or an individual with some experience of working with students with additional educational needs, working closely with the SEN Team to support identified students’ individual needs and share collective responsibility for creating and developing a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment enabling our students to maximise progress.  The successful candidate will work as part of the School’s Cover/SEN Team, with a particular focus on providing cover for teaching staff, ensuring that prepared lesson are carried out whilst maintaining good behaviour. Additionally responsibilities to include  providing support to the Administration Team, and undertaking invigilation.  Weeks worked include time during School holidays, to provide front-of-house cover.

Term Time only to start 28 August 2018

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated person to work as a Resident Graduate Boarding Assistant. This role will be for one year and will be split across supporting boarding and other departments within the School. It would ideally suit a recent graduate seeking a gap year after their degree course. It could also lead to a career in teaching or a pastoral role within an education setting.

This is a residential position with single accommodation provided as evening and weekend duties will be required. 


We are seeking a well organised, experienced person to supervise our Lower Sixth study periods and to carry out the administration of the sixth form processes. The role will involve supporting the sixth form pastoral team’s administration. The role will also involve Duke of Edinburgh Award administration.

Kent Range 3-4 (£15,253 - £18,826 pro rata), 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (which is term time, plus 2 weeks).  The role requires presence on GCSE results day in August and all of the days between that day and the start of term in September.

Kent Range 3 (£15,253 Pa) pro rata for 10 hours per week, term time only

We are seeking to employ a technician to join our well established, thriving, department to help prepare materials, display work and maintain equipment. Good organisation and communication skills are necessary. Training will be given for the right person. This post is for term time only. The local government pension scheme is available.  The hours are flexible.
